The repair kit is designed for filling in irregularities in metal and strengthening areas damaged by corrosion: fragments of car bodies, camping trailers, boats and yachts, using the manual lamination method. The applied layer is resistant to high temperatures (up to 80°C), oils, greases, and gasoline. The kit includes polyester resin, hardener, and fiberglass cloth.
Lamination:
- Cut a piece of fiberglass fabric to the desired length. Mix polyester resin with 2-3% hardener.
WARNING! The shelf life of the mixture at +20°C is 8-10 minutes.
- Using a brush or roller, apply the mixture to a degreased and rust-free surface.
- Press a piece of fiberglass cloth prepared in advance to the surface to be repaired.
- Using a brush or roller, apply the remainder of the mixture of resin and hardener to the surface to be repaired. During lamination, you should remove air bubbles that appeared during the application of the resin. If necessary, apply several layers of fiberglass cloth.
Recommended operating temperature: from +15ºС to +25ºС.
